Anti Aging Make-up – How To Look 10 Years Younger!

Pearlin Siow asked:

You are noticing more small lines around the eyes and mouth with each passing birthday, and elasticity isn’t what it once was. Yet nothing reminds you of the aging process more than looking in the mirror and seeing that your skin lacks the luster and glow it once had in your youth. Makeup looks and feels different, and your old makeup routine that had you looking bright and perky doesn’t seem to have the same magical, powerful effect.  But there’s good news: there are certain tried and true makeup tricks and techniques to help keep your face looking young and vibrant.

It all starts with the skin! It’s more important than ever to have your skin in tip top shape from the inside out. Staying hydrated by drinking lots of water daily and being aware of the air you sleep in is a must – excessive air-conditioning or heat will zap your skin of much needed moisture. Next, use both a cleanser and moisturizer loaded with emollients. We are programmed to believe that oil on our skin will result in clogged pores and unsightly breakouts (at any age) – not true! One of my all time favorite combinations is Shu Uemura’s Cleansing Oil followed by La Prairie’s Skin Caviar Luxe Cream. This leaves your skin with an immediate dose of moisture that you will see a real difference when you apply your makeup.

For the eye area, start with a well-groomed brow. It’s key to a polished, put together look. For shadow colour choices, it’s important to take into account your skin tone. You want to avoid colours that can accentuate dark circles under your eyes or sallow skin. Shadows with a red undertone can make eyes looks tired and blood shot. Instead opt for light colors that will open your eye such as NARS Nymphea (a beautiful baby pink). Step slightly outside your comfort zone – it may be time to retire the same brown eye shadow you’ve worn for years and try a colour in the same family as that brown but with undertones that pick up the colour of your eyes better. Also, avoid anything too harsh – instead of black liner, try navy or gray – this subtle shift in color still has a smoky, dramatic effect but reads better on the face.

On to blush – it is one of the quickest ways to give your face a pick me up. While most people shy away from bright colors with blush, it’s a surefire way to make your face look bright and radiant, and in turn, you look younger. While it may sounds wild, almost anyone can pull off a bright pink or bright apricot color – it’s just ensuring you apply with a light hand to avoid any Bozo clown references. I like a bright cream blush. To apply, smile and lightly tap the colour onto the round part directly under your eye when smiling, then blend softly – do not rub. I promise, colour looks like it’s radiating from within.”

For the mouth, avoid lipsticks that err towards browns and purples. Instead opt for a color that is one shade brighter than your natural lip. Most long-lasting lipsticks tend to be drying, and thus, begin feathering out and settling into lines on and around the mouth. As that’s the case, look for lipsticks that are tagged as “creamy,” “hydrating” or “moisturizing” – these words are your friends! Try topping lipstick with a soft layer of light peach or neutral colored gloss for an extra bit of shine.

Avoid all heavy powders. This includes powder foundation, blushes and shadows which can settle into fine lines making them appear worse than they actually are. Opt for products that are geared towards moisture like an illuminating foundation (crucial to evening out skin tone and imperfections, both which become more apparent as we age) and cream blush. While you might think that a highlighter is only for twenty-somethings, you’d be surprised the subtle glow it can provide, so long as you select one with subtle shimmer not a full on glow. Personally, my go-to is La Prairie’s Light Fantastic. The pen-like applicator makes it extremely easy to apply. Click the pen a few times to bring colour to the tip, then draw a swoop down the nose and around the eyes, blending with your fingertip or a brush, and watch as you brighten and lighten the area by creating dimension.

Remember – the goal is to wear makeup NOT have makeup that wears you. Work with what you have, and highlight your best features. It’s not only possible to age gracefully – it’s easy to do so, as long as you’re armed with the knowledge and makeup products you need!

Will Fuller Lips Make Your Face Look Younger?

Cynthia Rowland asked:

If you have smiled at yourself in the mirror or meticulously pored over recent photos trying to decide just what is different about your facial appearance, consider this: Lips shrink with age and if your smile is showing more teeth than you remember, your lips need a tune-up.

The beauty barons have certainly jumped on the proverbial band wagon because we see ads for lip enhancement product advertisements in the drug stores, on tv, magazines, web pages, ezines and more. The choices are astounding and you just might be confused by all the hype to create fuller lips.

Years ago when you realize that your lips were not quite as full as they were when you were in your early years, you may have pulled a Joan Crawford; drawing outside the line was fairly popular for awhile. Maybe you fooled most of the people but you knew that your lips did not have a pout and you probably looked a little funny.

In the 80’s and 90’s plastic surgeons began to experiment with certain fillers that were either injected or implanted surgically to enlarge mostly the top lip. These temporary fixes transformed the lips but the results were not always optimal. The lips sometimes felt very hard, rock-like, and those lumps and bumps shouted to everyone that your lips were less than authentic.

Using unnatural substances and chemicals to plump up your lips means that you are willing to spend a lot of money and to risk damaging the very essence of who you are.

Lip Serums and Potions came on the scene and they have been snatched up by women on most every continent. Buyer beware because even those innocent and sometimes very expensive, gooey lip preparations that promise to enlarge your lips may subject you to a very nasty surprise, especially if you are sensitive to certain chemicals and ingredients.

Do they really deliver on their promises to make your lips fuller? Or do they just provide a sensation that something is happening?

Why is lip enhancement important? What causes lips to lose their fullness? Lip and eyes are focal points on our faces. If the lips appear thin and hard, this affects the entire face. Typically, women stop wearing lipstick because of bleed lines surrounding their lips. Lines begin to form above the lips and around the mouth when there is less fullness.

Lip tissue is soft tissue. This provides fullness and definition to our lips. When lips lose definition and shape, our mouths can look withered and drawn, even misshapen.

Muscle atrophy is partly to blame. If your top lip is shrinking the muscle surrounding the lips is losing its battle with Mother Nature. Maybe you have pursed your lips, maybe you need a better bite or maybe you just need to pump up those lips.

There is a safe and sane lip product that will create full, pouty, more kissable lips without lumps, bumps or risks. Rather than injections or surgery or anything gooey that burns, sears delicate tissue or creates mouth sores you might want to try a lip pump device.

A lip pump device creates a very gentle vacuum action that slowly coaxes your own body fluid into the lip area and locks it there so that the size of the lips increases about fifty percent. Daily use assures that your lips stay fuller longer and longer.

This natural process of lip enhancement does not put anything into the body. There is no pain and there are no drawbacks. Oh sure there has been some reported bruising for those over zealous users but basically it’s a safe bet that if you would like to see fuller, younger looking lips, the lip pump will work for you.

The process of creating full, Luscious Lips does not happen overnight; rather, one must first condition the lips by slowing using the pump for just seconds per day. Using the pump for five two-second pulls for the first two weeks ensures that the lips establish and maintain fullness. After the initial two week conditioning period, the user can then use the device up to 120 seconds per day.

The lip pump is affordably priced, there is no risk and it can be used by both men and women. Results are a small miracle especially for those whose lips are without definition, color and fullness.

Does Taking Collagen Powder Really Help to Build Collagen?

Rachel Hammond asked:

Does taking collagen powder really help build collagen is a question I get asked a lot. You may not like the answer but I will also show you how to achieve fantastic results using only natural ingredients.

One of the biggest myths (to put it politely!) that abounds is that collagen powder, cream, pills or whatever will help to make you look younger, and the products aren’t cheap either.

This is scientifically proven to be not true, I’m afraid to say.

The molecules of collagen are far too big to penetrate the skin and are simply washed away the next time you clean your face, and taking it orally will not help either as it is too complex a substance to link up with other molecules.

I don’t know how the big cosmetic companies manage to keep the myth going, but speak to a dermatologist if you want to double-check.

Instead of asking does taking collagen powder really help build collagen, you need to ask what can boost my levels of this important skin protein naturally.

The answer comes from a company in New Zealand. It has recently developed a breakthrough in skin care – a substance from sheep’s wool that will dramatically boost the amount of collagen you produce, removing wrinkles and lines in weeks, not months.

In addition it is full of antioxidants to fight the signs of aging and prevent wrinkles from returning. In clinical trials it showed a sustained improvement in skin elasticity of 42% over 18 days, and it contains no harmful chemicals.

This is the way forward in skin care, to use natural ingredients that work with your body to reverse the signs of aging and heal and improve your overall health at the same time.

I hope I have helped to answer the question of does taking collagen powder really help build collagen and that you can now know the excellent alternatives that really do work to keep you looking younger.

Ten Sure-Fire Tips on How to Make Skin Look Younger

Dorothy A. Pela asked:

Everyday, there are hundreds of people all around the world, striving to find those anti aging products which promise to have the answer to the burning question: How to make skin look younger.

Let’s face it; the passage of years leaves its toll on our skin. Gradually, as we hit our early to mid thirties, those much dreaded signs of aging start to become visible, especially on our face: Fine lines developing into wrinkles start to appear, sagging becomes noticeable and de-hydration creeps in.

While it is true that nobody can escape from the inevitable effects of aging, not all of us experience them at the same rate. You might be 45 but people you meet tell you that you look 35. The opposite also happens. People in their thirties might have wrinkles and sagging skin, while their classmates from school might still look young and fresh.

Therefore, you can say that our skin has two types of age: One is “chronological” and the other is the “real” one. Ideally, we wish the latter to be much lower than the former. How do we go about achieving that?

Scientists say that we experience two types of aging. One is called “intrinsic”, i.e. it depends on internal factors such as our genetic makeup, and the other one is called “extrinsic”, i.e. it depends on external factors such as the environment or the food we eat.

What can we do to slow down the rate of progress of each type of aging?

Of course, as you understand, there is nothing we can do about factors such as our genes, except blame our parents! But, fortunately, besides manipulating our genes, there is alternative action we can take.

Below, I came up with a list of  ten tips that will hopefully answer the question on how to make skin look younger. Please note that this list is by no means exhaustive.

1) If you think your skin looks old, it probably does. Before you embark on any practical measures, it is very important that you acquire the right mindset. When you look yourself in the mirror, visualize it as being young and vibrant. Your mind has the power to enhance those organic functions that will rejuvenate your skin.

2) Keep track of your blood pressure and keep it normal low. Arterial aging is one of the most important factors influencing skin age and appearance. Good artery health includes a diet high in fruit, fish, potassium, and calcium.

3) Eat five to six servings of vegetables a day, and two to three pieces of whole fruit.

4)Eat fish at least three times a week.

5) Eat the good fats like olive oil, avocados, flaxseeds, canola oil, fish and nuts, keeping them to 25% of your total daily calories.

6) Sunshine produces vitamin D. Ten to twenty minutes of it every day, will keep you looking young. Nevertheless, beware: Sun exposure is the most important factor of “extrinsic” aging. Always wear sunscreen of SPF 15 or above on your hands and face, even in cloudy days.

7) Get your sleep: minimum six and a half to seven hours for women and seven to eight hours for men.

8) Quit smoking and avoid second hand smoke for better general health, but also to prevent fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth.

9) Remove unnecessary stress from your life. Daily exercise and frequent socializing will help to de-stress.

10) Get in the habit of routinely using high quality anti aging creams and moisturizers. For this last tip, I have a special advice: Always look for skin care creams which contain ingredients that help stimulate your body’s own production of collagen and elastin, the two most important proteins that help keep your skin young and firm.

On my website on skin care, I have a lot of fascinating information on breakthrough ingredients that will do wonders for your skin. To learn more and see the skin care products I personally use and recommend, visit it today.

3 Face Lift Creams that Get Results

Dave Porter asked:

As large numbers of baby-boomers enter the older generation reaching 50 years old and above, the development and marketing of anti-aging products and non-surgical procedures have noticeably increased.

An immeasurable number of facelift cream products have been developed as an alternative to surgical and non-surgical methods of enhancing the appearance of the face. Facelift creams are designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles creating a more youthful, glowing, and appealing look. These products are non-invasive and considerably less expensive alternatives to face lift surgery and non-surgical techniques such as microdermabrasion, Botox, and derma fillers like Restylane, Juvaderm , and Perlane. Many are shying away from these invasive procedures for the more indiscernible facelift cream products.

Facelift creams are easy to use and can be applied under makeup and powders. They take only minutes a day to use and can be incorporated into routine skincare regimens. There are no scars, swelling, needle marks, bruising, or redness. No down time is experienced and best of all, no surprises. The effects are so subtle, the results are obvious, but the reason is undetectable. Looking more vibrant and younger appears naturally. Facelift creams are fast replacing the invasive procedures of time past.

One such facelift cream is LifeCell. This product is an all natural approach to preventing and repairing the signs of aging. The cream actually prevents cell damage related to aging skin and wrinkles. The main active ingredients in are Nitric Oxide and Idebenone. Nitric Oxide dilates the capillaries and increases healthy blood circulation to the skin while Idebenone is an antioxidant. Both ingredients work to provide healthy, younger looking skin.

For Instant Results…

If you’re looking to get that face lift look almost instantly there is Athena 7 Minute Lift facelift cream. Also an all natural topical product that does not contain toxins, muscle relaxing ingredients, or harmful chemicals. The primary ingredients are 12 organic Greek essential oils that not only produce amazing results, it nourishes skin and keeps it healthy and vibrant. This product can be used by all skin types and will not irritate sensitive skin.

And one more alternative

Alphaderma CE is a wonderful moisturizer and a total skin rejuvenating treatment that will astonish you after the first application. With the active ingredient Argirelene®, this product will treat and prevent the effects of aging. Acetyl Hexapeptide 3 or Argirelene® is the only ingredient in cosmetics today offering the same results as Botox®. Argirelene® blocks nerve signals to facial muscles, and relaxes them by producing a significant reduction in both the depth and size of fine lines and wrinkles.

Of the products listed above, all offer a money back guarantee. You owe it to yourself to try one of these risk free products.

Non Surgical Face Lift Alternatives

Justin Chelf asked:

cal Face Lift Alternatives

A non-surgical face lift can improve the overall appearance of the skin without the cost, time, and physical difficulties of traditional face lift surgery. Face lifts without surgery, offer great benefits to patients unwilling to go under the knife. Here is an introduction to some of the non-surgical face lift alternatives available.

Face Lift Without Surgery

Thanks to modern technology, it is now possible to have an effective face lift without surgery. There are several non-surgical face lift techniques available, including the laser face lift, and the microcurrent face lift. These procedures are minimally invasive, remarkably efficient, and practically pain-free.

Laser Face Lift

Looking for a face lift that doesn’t require incisions? With a laser face lift, there is no cutting, scarring, or anesthesia. Using laser technology, doctors resurface and tighten the outer layers of the skin, leaving patients with fewer fine lines and wrinkles. The non-surgical laser face lift does cause some minor discoloration and sensitivity immediately after treatment; however, these side effects typically disappear within a week or two.

Microcurrent Face Lift

Also known as the Bio-Ultimate face lift, a microcurrent face lift is a non-surgical face lift procedure that is aesthetically effective and cost efficient. During a microcurrent face lift, gentle electric currents are applied to the face, stimulating a natural cellular reaction. The effects of this stimulation are varied and include exfoliation and rejuvenation of the skin, tightening of the facial muscles, reduction of sun damage, and improvements in overall skin tone. By promoting the skin’s natural ability to produce collagen and elastin, microcurrent face lifts leave patients with subtle but exceptional facial enhancement.

Natural Face Lift Products and Creams

In certain situations, even the least invasive non-surgical face lift procedures are undesirable or impossible, as in the case of patients with skin that is too thin or too sensitive for thread face lifts or laser face lifts. Luckily, the range of natural face lift products is rapidly increasing and improving. Face lift creams containing highly concentrated solutions of amino acids like acetyl hexapeptide and alpha hydroxy acid are intended to tighten skin and reduce fine lines. Other natural face lifts include instant face lift powders and creams that can be applied at home.

7 Classic Ways of Bringing Back your Younger Years

Sharon Bell asked:

Aside from taxes, one of the things that people dread, particularly women, is the aging process. However, no matter what you do, aging is inevitable and you cannot stop the hands of time from ticking and adding up years to your life and wrinkles to your faces and necks. No matter how many Botox and surgical procedures you undertake, you will eventually be faced with sagging skin and age spots galore.

Do not lose some more of your thinning hair thinking for ways to find the fountain of youth. The best way to approach aging, especially for women, is to accept and embrace it. Age gracefully with the help of natural facial cleansers, moisturizers, and make up.

You really do not have to undergo expensive cosmetic procedures just to be beautiful and look younger than you actually are. All you have to do is to follow the seven secrets enumerated below to attain instant youthful glow.

Secret 1: Skip The Concealer And Face Powder

For people who have lines and creases all over their face, it is advisable to skip the concealer and face powder. These products will only make the lines and creases on your face more prominent. If you are a Hollywood star and are shooting a movie or television program, it may be ok to put on tons of concealers and face powders to hide you lines. However, if you are just going out with your friends or going to the mall, then sport a light cream-based foundation that is ideal for aging skin.

Secret 2: The Magic of Highlighter

Another makeup product that will truly hide your flaws and emphasize your assets is the highlighter. Be sure to put some highlights on your creases. The highlighter will help counter the shadows because it reflects the light. However, do not overdo the highlighting. You do not want to look like you came out of the pages of an 80’s magazine.

Secret 3: Shape Your Eyebrows

People who are older usually have droopy eyes. One thing you can do to open up your eyes and make it look bigger and more alert is by plucking your eyebrows. Well-groomed eyebrows can help make your eyelids look more lifted.

Secret 4: Don’t Forget The Curlers

Another way to make your eyes bigger and brighter is by using an eyelash curler. Ensuring that no lashes are shrouding your eyes can help in your efforts to look younger. However, be careful with using the curler because you wouldn’t want to lose eyelashes altogether. As you grow older, you experience thinning of the hair, including those precious lashes.

Secret 5: Mind Your Hairstyle

Your hairstyle is a crucial component in making you look younger and fresher. The ideal hair length for people who are growing old is above the shoulders. If you must keep long hair, ensure that you tie it up to a ponytail. This hairstyle will help in pulling the skin on your temples tighter, lessening the appearance of lines on some parts of your face. If you have too much wrinkles on your forehead, you may want to carry some bangs.

Secret 6: Hide Under A Sun Screen

Exposure to the harsh rays of the sun without any protection will result in the formation and development of more skin blemishes and problems, such as age spots, liver spots, freckles and wrinkles. Don’t speed up the aging process; use a good sunscreen during the day, even during winter and gloomy days.

Secret 7: Moisturize

Another way to keep your skin youthful and for you to prevent, or sometimes even remove, signs of aging is by using an anti-aging product that will help hydrate and moisturize your skin. Choose a product that has natural ingredients and is specifically designed for aging skin. One beauty cream that you can use to help make your skin look younger and suppler is Rejuvinol. Make-Up Masterclass

alenka asked:

Are you the sort of person who isn’t sure why people use foundation, concealer and powder before applying their ‘real’ make-up? Do mascara clots and lipstick smudges regularly appear on your face? Prepare to be demystified – here’s a guide to the basics of any good make-up bag and how you should be using them.

Foundation

The starting point for all well-groomed faces, foundation is a liquid, powder or cream smoothed over the whole face to provide a layer of coverage that evens out skin tone, minimises pores and covers light blemishes.

Do: Apply your foundation with a proper cosmetic sponge (?????????). The little foam applicators that come in compacts are not only too small to allow you to sweep color on evenly, they’re also a breeding ground for bacteria and dead skin cells.

Don’t: ‘Save’ on concealer by applying very thick foundation. It doesn’t cover spots effectively and makes your face look mask-like and artificial. Concealer

Used to hide spots, blemishes and dark circles, concealer is a cream or liquid added in small dots to the areas where it’s needed and blended into the skin. It can be used without foundation for those with generally good skin, or while you’re in hot climates, where too much base can feel clogging.

Do: Try using a brush to add concealer. It stops you from putting too much on and gives a very professional finish. Don’t forget to clean the brush regularly, though.

Don’t: Apply normal concealer to eye bags – it’ll only make them look bigger. Ensure you’ve got a light-reflecting formula if you want to cover dark circles.

Powder

Loose powder (which comes in small pots) or pressed powder (in compacts) is applied to ’set’ foundation, reduce oiliness and help eye and cheek colors stick to the skin.

Do: Apply loose powder with a puff so you can press it into the skin ???????????? ?????????, but use a brush on pressed powder, which needs to be stirred up a bit so it doesn’t ’sit’ on the face.

Don’t: Use powder as a substitute for foundation. It doesn’t give the same sort of coverage, and a thick layer of powder just makes you look chalky.

Blusher

Also known as rouge, blusher is color for the cheeks and comes in powder, cream and occasionally liquid (cheek ‘tint’) formulations. Use a brush to apply powder only to the ‘apples’ of your cheeks – the bits that bulge out when you smile. Apply small dots of cream blush in the same place before blending lightly over the whole cheek.

Do: Pick peachy-toned blushers, which suit everyone – pinks can be difficult to wear and dark bronze colors only work on very tanned or dark skin.

Don’t: Paint streaks of blusher along your cheekbones to ’shape’ your face. You’ll end up looking like an escapee from Dynasty.

Mascara

A perennial staple of any woman’s make-up bag, mascara is painted onto eyelashes to lengthen, thicken and darken them and define the eyes. While some firms still make ‘block’ mascara, which comes in small chunks and is applied with a brush, by far the most common sort comes in tubes with a bristle-covered ‘wand’ to apply.

After removing the wand from the tube, wipe off the excess mascara with a tissue before beginning to apply a thin coat to the lashes. Use an eyelash comb to stop the lashes sticking together and get rid of clots, then apply a second thin coat. Putting on two layers instead of one thick one will help the color last longer.

Do: Experiment with different formulations to find the one that works best on your lashes. Not all ‘lengthening’ mascaras give the same result, while the thickness of your own lashes will have a bearing on the heaviness of your preferred brand.

Don’t: Ignore all the other colors on the market and plump straight for black – brown mascara will look more natural if you have fair skin and hair.

Lip color

Whether lipstick, gloss, stain or tint, a groomed face isn’t complete without color on the mouth. Ensure your lips are primed before adding color by applying a moisturising lip balm ???????????????? ?????????, then apply two thin coats, ‘blotting’ lips with a split tissue between each coat. For bold lip color, use a matching lip liner to outline your lips so the color doesn’t ‘bleed’ outside the line, and add a smudge-proof top coat to ensure lasting color.

Do: Spend that bit extra to get a decent formulation. Cheap lip gloss that sticks to everything, or waxy lipstick that comes off in seconds, isn’t worth the money.

Don’t: Use the very odd trick of outlining your lips with dark liner, but leave the rest lipstick-free. It just looks like you’ve forgotten to finish your make-up.

Erase Wrinkles With Natural Cosmetics?

Xavier Roget asked:

Being young is the best time to be alive. You are at the very peak of health, strength, and beauty.  You have your life ahead of you. With so many things to think about, college, relationships, a career; the last things you want to think about is aging.  Let me assure you.  You are not unique! All of us thought the same. We were oblivious to old age.  We thought, that perhaps it was some type of disease that only the unfortunate get.   But it was all too real.  It crept up on us – not at a snail’s pace, but rather as quickly as the seasons changed.

What would we have done differently?

One thing is for sure. We would have been more careful about how we took care of our skin.  Oh, the foolish things we did to look attractive!  Do you remember sitting in the sun, trying to get a dark tan?  Remember looking in the mirror and thinking how great you looked?  But the tan only lasted for a few days, and then it faded away.  These few days of “looking good” actually might have caused the wrinkles and dark spots that we have today.

Yes, exposure to the sun destroys the integrity of our skin more than almost anything else. Whether we wear sun protection or not, it is still very hazardous to our skin. It doesn’t matter whether we use a sun screen, sun cream or sun block.  Even though they are somewhat effective in blocking out some of the UV rays, they really only give us a false sense of security. Wearing a sun block is similar to wearing sunglasses during a nuclear explosion.  Yes, the sheer magnitude of the light might not affect you, but you are still exposed to other hideous after affects.

Is it possible to get a safe tan?

Don’t be lulled into thinking that there is such a thing as a “safe tan”.  There really isn’t.  When your skin turns dark, it is actually a protection mechanism against further exposure. It is similar to a callous.  A callous serves as armor to protect our skin from further aggravation.  When we see a callous, do we think, “that looks great, I will rub my skin some more to get even more calloused?”  Of course not!  The suntan, even though it may look appealing, is actually a warning signal to stop further exposure!

The best way to safeguard ourselves is to begin a preventative skin care regime.  For best results it should be started when we are young.  With just a few simple changes in your skin care regime, such as becoming “sun wise” and not over-cleansing the skin, premature aging can be reduced. Therefore, the best advice is to stop purposefully exposing yourself to the sun.  Any products that promise you that they will get rid of years of sun damage are promising you the moon. When the damage is done it is impossible to reverse it.  However, damage may be mitigated by using a natural anti-wrinkle cream that supplies the skin with nutrients.

Looking great in a few minutes?

How can you look more attractive in just a few minutes without damaging your skin? Mascara! With just a little effort, you get the most noticeable results.  It gives you more va va va vooom for the effort, money and time. What could be better than this product!  No wonder this is the first thing women would want on a deserted, desert island. But there is a love hate relationship between how it looks, and how it actually irritates your eyes.  Especially when making dinner, boiling spaghetti or cooking onions.

Why can’t anyone come up with a product that looks good and at the same time is non irritating?  The good news is that researchers have come up with a formula that does just that!  How?  By using natural oils and beeswax that do not run when they get wet, and water soluble ingredients that closely match the pH of tears!  Simple, but effective!  Thousands of women who have experienced irritation from every other product finally do not torture their eyes in order to have great looking lashes!

Of course it goes on just about the same as any other brand.  Better results are gained if a thin coat is applied first and allowed to dry. The second coat is what really gives you the look. No more raccoon eyes, no flaking, and the best of all; it cleans up well with most cleansers.

How to gain the best results from your application?

You will gain the best results from using a mascara primer.  It will give you better adhesion, extra length and separation.   Of course, all products darken, lengthen and give volume.  But the process of application is what really counts.  Having said this, it really is the brush that makes the biggest difference. Actually it is the brush that is more important than the product.  Brushes with tighter bristles give thicker applications.  Long bristles are better for a natural look.

Try this new trick for your upper lashes; with a wiggly back and forth  movement start at the base as you sweep through to the end.  This will give you a thicker base and a separated end.  If you want a more defined look, try twirling the wand instead of pumping it. Pumping will only cause the product to dry inside the container sooner. Be careful to avoid globs and clumps.  The way to do this is tissue off excess mascara before applying it.

Without a lot of effort and time, by perfecting your application technique, you can transform the way you look more than by anything else you do.  That is why mascara truly is the makeup of choice for the majority of women.
